Reason trilogy and tour:
The Sleep of
Reason (Dirk Serries and Jon Attwood) LP trilogy is available to order now from

Tour recap…
the five shows we did (London, Cologne, Leuven, Nuremburg and Heerlen) went
well with each one a different venue, different feel and different end result,
but all very enjoyable shows.
Unfortunately I had to pull out of the last 2 shows so apologies to
anyone hoping to see them – Dirk did a fine job of a solo set at them.
So the Sleep
of Reason has concluded it’s work – get the LP while you can.

That’s all for now
Jon/Y6
Over
the past few years, alongside their own solo projects, Dirk Serries and Jon
Attwood [Yellow 6] have been slowly working on a trilogy of albums as The Sleep
Of Reason. This trilogy combines their own individual takes on guitar drone and
ambience into something with its own character and style. The resulting music
sees their guitars blend into slowly shifting soundscapes that take you to a
different place and time. Each album is a continuation of the previous one but
differs on an almost subliminal level, making the listener realise over time
that the sleep of reason is a slowly mutating, thematic and specific musical
entity.
Limited to 200 copies only, the set not only includes the trilogy of lps, but also a one-sided live lp recorded during the tonefloat label night 2011, and a cd with a selection of tracks taken from the three studio albums.
The release date is October 9 - 2012, and it's available for pre-order now from the tonefloat store.
